Jashiyah Jones Nabs Top Business Internship Honor As Most Valuable Player
Atlanta, GA—Jashiyah Jones, a senior [add something about her basketball status] at Savannah State University, completed a summer intensive business ownership program, ShineU. She received the top honor as Most Value Player and a $3000 investment award to be deposited into an accredited brokerage account.
Jashiyah shares, “To describe this as an internship is an understatement. This experience should be offered to every future entrepreneur in college. Although not my first, this experience played a huge role in shaping my adulthood, career, and personal brand and fostering a corporate mindset. I felt driven to give it my all—arriving early to meetings, exercising leadership skills, networking, learning from peers, and mastering business communication. I’m honored to be a Savannah State University student, proud to be a member of the Savannah State’s Women’s Basketball team and blessed by Shine2Inspire with the opportunity to participate in the SHINEU program. Thank you, Mr. Andre and Mrs. Danesha Smith for investing in me. I’m glad to be your MVP.”
